Sydney-based Ayurveda Dr. Rama Prasad practices and promotes natural wellness internationally based on Vedic wisdom and has done so for over 23 years. During his 8 year Gurukula training he mastered Ayurveda and Yoga it their original language, Sanskrit, from an internationally acclaimed south Indian university. He has offered over 200 free presentations at Yoga centres between 2010 and 2018! Dr. Prasad's training style is an absorbing blend of pure devotion with a strong sense of logic. He has organised and has been part of over 3 dozen international ayurveda and yoga conferences in India and Australia. He has identified around 2000 classical Ayurveda herbs native to Australia, including many species which are endangered in India. In his Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and online clinics, he specialises in stress and its effects, autism, dermatology, gut health, cognitive conditions and used effective mind-body treatment techniques. He is part of a vibrant Ayurveda community with passionate professionals and participants in Australia. When he is back in his birth village in Kerala with his 12 year old daughter, he still performs his traditional duties - helping his mother making Tulsi garlands for their local temple deities.
