Alzheimer's disease and Ayurveda

Memory and the loss of it are linked in Ayurveda to stress, nutrition and other lifestyle factors. Called mastishkam, Ayurvedic masters knew amazingly a lot about brain than we think. Every lifestyle factor such as rest, communication, exercise, nutrition, work etc. have direct effect on our brain.
You might find hundreds videos on coconut oil connection to Alzheimer's disease on youtube and all over internet. Coconut oil is easy to digest and one of the most suited fats/oils for human body.
Some of the factors Ayurveda works on are given below:
  1. When one concludes their past and stories are no more valid, all their memories may slowly vanish.
  2. Brain circulation has a major role in maintaining our memories.
  3. Digestive flora, koshta and graham, determines what is absorbed in order to nourish our brain. If not absorbed enough it may affect the memory. Heathy flora provides us with signs like good appetite, easy digestion, ability to stop eating when satisfied, regular bowel movements, etc.
  4. Regular bowel movement will determine the health of large intestine. A biochemical pathway starts from large intestine to brain.
  5. Sleep quality, time and duration determine the nature of rest brain receives that will determine the quality of repair brain cells go through. Good sleep means refreshed when wake up, means all 600 trillion cells of our body has fully repaired.
